He is considered to be one of Arsenal FC’s greatest ever players, a man who played for 22 years for one club and captained his team to three league titles in three different decades. Tony Adams, aka “Mr Arsenal” is our September lunch guest in Mayfair for what is sure to be another sell-out event. Adams won four league titles in total, three FA Cups, two League Cups and a Cup Winners Cup as well as playing 66 times for England, including four major tournaments, and captaining his country. It was a truly stellar career which is why his statue can be found outside the Emirates Stadium. Apart from some post-playing forays into management Tony has also created his Sporting Chance clinic after his own well-documented battles with alcoholism which he has overcome. Come and meet this huge football figure over our usual sumptuous lunch and listen to his compelling story, both on and off the pitch.
