Harry Redknapp brought the house down last night at the MSC at Manchester Hall as he entertained a packed audience with story after story.
The much-loved football manager and recently-crowned “King of the Jungle” after winning ITV’s “I’m a Celebrity…” related tales of his times in the jungle as well as managing clubs such as West Ham, Portsmouth and Spurs and some of the most colourful characters playing the game. Other interviews included former Liverpool legend Alan Kennedy, former Manchester City manager Brian Horton and former Rochdale footballer and cancer survivor Joe Thompson. Money was raised for Goal 17 – a charity aimed at using football to tackle youth homelessness- after a speech from CEO Fran Boorman.
