The Sporting Club are delighted to be hosting our first lunch in Belfast with the former Watford, Liverpool and England star footballer, John Barnes. Known also for his rapping, John won 79 caps for his country and played 233 and 314 times for Watford and Liverpool, where he became the darling of the Kop. He also won two league titles and two FA Cups at Liverpool. John also played in two famous world cup tournaments, in 1986 and 1990. A prolific scorer of beautiful goals John has remained current to this day as a sought-after commentator on a wide range of sporting and non-sporting issues.
