The Sporting Club Guernsey

The Sporting Club Guernsey is based at The Old Government House Hotel & Spa in the heart of St. Peter Port.

The Crown Club
Set within the historic 18th-century Old Crown Offices, The Crown Club offers an intimate and adaptable space ideal for various occasions and events. Sporting Club members enjoy private access to the lounges attached to the conservatory, subject to availability, as well as preferential rates for private hire—whether for a discreet meeting or a larger gathering of up to 50 guests.

Spa & Wellness
Members of The Sporting Club also enjoy complimentary access to the hotel’s luxurious spa and wellness facilities, including a fully equipped gym, sauna, steam room, and two whirlpool spas. During the summer months, guests can unwind in the outdoor heated pool. Off-peak gym memberships are available upon request, and Sporting Club members benefit from an exclusive corporate gym membership at Revolution Gym for just £59 per month via Direct Debit. This includes full use of the gym, free weights, daily conditioning and aerobic classes, a chill-out room, and complimentary infused tea and mineral water. Additionally, members receive a 10% discount on all treatments at the OGH Spa (subject to availability). Please note that gym membership rates will increase in April 2025.

Dining & Accommodation Discounts
Sporting Club members can enjoy a 10% discount on food at The OGH Hotel’s renowned dining establishments, The Brasserie and The Governors Curry Room (drinks not included).

For those wishing to stay, members receive 10% off the best available room rates, with added benefits including a full English breakfast, a welcome drink on arrival, and a local newspaper delivered to the room each morning. Guests will also have access to complimentary still and sparkling water, as well as digital international newspapers and magazines, including The Financial Times, The Times, The Independent, London Evening Standard, Le Figaro, The Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg Businessweek, and Newsweek.

Rates & Terms
The above rates are non-commissionable.
Rates are valid for groups of up to eight rooms; group rates and terms are available upon request.
The rates granted are confidential between Red Carnation Hotels and The Sporting Club.
Rates are valid until 31st December 2025.
Cancellations
To avoid charges, cancellations must be made before 4 PM on the day prior to arrival. A cancellation number will be provided as confirmation.
All "no-shows" and reservations not cancelled before this time will be charged at the full contract rate for the first night only.
