The Sporting Club enjoyed another Bothan’s Ashes 40th Anniversary Dinner last night, this time in Leeds to celebrate the Miracle of Headingley. Eight of the 1981 team were present in the room including Graham Gooch, Mike Gatting, Sir Geoffrey Boycott and, of course, Ian Botham. The evening was hosted by David Gower and Geoff Miller was the auctioneer. We raised funds for Beefy’s Charity Foundation.
