The fourth and final Botham’s Ashes 40th Anniversary Dinner took place last night at Old Trafford, Manchester, to end a series of successful events staged by the Sporting Club over the summer and autumn. Ian Botham, Sir Geoffrey Boycott, Graham Gooch, Mike Gatting, John Emburey and Paul Allott entettaibed us all as they reminisced about the epic 1981 Ashes Series whilst David Gower and Mike Brearley contributed films. Geoff Miller hosted and we raised funds for Beefy’s Charity Foundation.
