Soldier, adventurer, TV personality and best-selling author Ant Middleton brought the Wow factor to the Manchester Sporting Club last night when he headlined a dinner at the Lowry Hotel in Salford. The former Royal Marine and SBS Point Man stunned the packed dining room with his brutally honest and frank account of his life, talking for far longer than he was billed for. He also held a book signing session for his latest book, “The Fear Bubble.” Leeds Rhino Rugby League legend Barrie McDermott also spoke before leading a fund raiser for his former teammate, Rob Burrow, stricken by MND.
