Wayne Barnes, the world’s top rugby referee, was our star breakfast guest yesterday in Mayfair. The English official and barrister entertained our members and guests up in the club room with many tales about the best players in the world, the most high profile games, his mistakes, his highlights, plus plenty of views on the state of rugby and countless amusing stories as well. The packed room thoroughly enjoyed Wayne’s contribution after tucking into a full English breakfast courtesy of our good friends at Morton’s. We wish Wayne well on the eve of the 2020 Six Nations tournament.
