John Daly was in magnificent form yesterday at the London Sporting Club where he entertained the audience with his stories of golf and his rock and roll lifestyle and even sang one of his own songs while playing guitar.
The American golfer was both hilarious and brutally frank about the incredible highs and lows he has experienced through golf, drink, gambling and other excesses during an hour-long Q&A nobody will forget.
Other sports stars interviewed on the day were three time Olympic rowing champion Andy Hodge, former Scotland rugby captain Kelly Brown and former England cricket captain Adam Hollioake. Actress Gemma Oaten also spoke on behalf of her own family’s charity, Seed.
