David “Bumble” Lloyd Confirmed for July Manchester Dinner

July 4th, 5.45-8.45pm. Manchester Hall, Bridge Street, Manchester.

Come and join one of English cricket’s most-loved figures, especially in the north-west, where he plied much of his trade. David “Bumble” Lloyd was not only a leading batsman for Lancashire and England – as well as a semi-professional footballer for his beloved Accrington Stanley – but went on to become a first-class umpire, head coach for first Lancashire and then England, and finally one of the most entertaining broadcast commentators and pundits in the business. Listen to “Bumble” as he takes us through his life story ten days before the cricket world cup final and just a few weeks away from the start of the Ashes during a delicious two-course dinner at Manchester Hall.
