It was back to the 1970’s last night at The Square restaurant in Mayfair where the LSC retold the miracle of Nottingham Forest 40 years on after they won the European Cup. Five of their star team were present, with Tony Woodcock and Viv Anderson the main speakers helped by John Robertson, Kenny Burns and John O’Hare. Nigel Jemson, who played for Forest ten years later, was also in the room as we relived one of the greatest ever football stories over a three course dinner and footage of Brian Clough, the team, the goals and the memories.
